HISTORY OF PANETTONE: The Traditional Panettone BEGNA, is one of the symbol of Milan.They say that, on Christmas Eve, the Duke Ludovico the Moor, Lord of Milan held a great court dinner. On that occasion a sculler-boy named Toni, offered the "sweet bread",nhanced with candied fruits and golden-brown dome. The Duke baptized it with name of its creator and since then everyone has eaten and celebrated with the bread of Toni :*pan del Toni*, that is Panettone.
STORIA DEL PANETTONE: Il Panettone tradizionale Begna è uno dei simboli della città di Milano. Si narra che alla vigilia di Natale nella corte del Duca Ludovico il Moro, si tenne un gran pranzo:per quell'occasione uno sguattero della cucina, detto Toni, propose un "pane dolce", profumato di frutta candita e burro, con una cupola ben brunita.Il Duca lo battezzò con il nome del suo creatore e da quel momento tutti mangiano e festeggiano con il * pan del Toni*, ossia il Panettone.
